Privacy Policy for Photo Utility Studio
About this policy
Photo Utility Studio is provided by Aktyva konsaltynh technologies. This policy describes how the Android app accesses and handles information when you edit, save, and share images.
Privacy contact: mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com
Information accessed and stored
The app uses Android’s system photo picker to access images you select, individually or in batches. It reads image contents, file names, file sizes, dimensions, formats, and image orientation. When available, it also reads camera make, camera model, capture date and time, exposure, and aperture for the image information display. Selected images may themselves contain personal information or embedded metadata.
The app creates local cached copies of selected images and processed outputs. It stores your named presets, preferred output format and quality, and saved color palette in private app storage. It also keeps copies of up to 20 recent saved exports, together with their names, dimensions, sizes, formats, and local file references.
When you choose Copy color, the selected color value is placed on the Android clipboard. Clipboard access and retention are governed by Android and your device settings.
Purposes and collection by the developer
Image processing takes place locally on your device. The app uses the information described above to resize, crop, rotate, flip, compress, convert, preview, and inspect images; sample colors; process batches; and restore saved settings and recent exports.
The inspected application does not upload your images, presets, palette, or usage information to the developer. It does not implement accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash reporting. Processing errors may be written to local Android diagnostic logs; the app does not implement transmission of those logs to the developer.
Saving, sharing, and third-party services
Saving writes an output image to the destination you choose through Android’s document interface. If you choose a destination backed by a cloud storage provider, that provider may receive the saved image under its own terms and privacy policy.
Sharing opens Android’s share chooser. The app grants the recipient app temporary read access to the processed image you choose to share. The recipient’s handling of that image is governed by its own privacy practices. Photo Utility Studio does not automatically send images to other apps or to the developer.
Processed exports are newly encoded images and do not copy the original camera or location metadata. Personal information visible within the image remains visible unless you edit it out.
The inspected dependencies include AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin libraries used for app operation. No advertising, analytics, or other third-party data-collection SDK was identified.
Android backup
The app allows Android backup. Depending on your device settings and Android’s backup rules, some private app data may be backed up or restored through the operating system’s backup service. Such backups are handled under the relevant service provider’s privacy practices.
Security
The app uses Android’s private app storage for preferences and recent-export copies, app cache storage for working image files, and Android’s file-sharing mechanism for user-requested sharing. These protections depend on Android and the security of your device. No method of storage or sharing guarantees complete security.
The Android manifest includes Internet permission, but the inspected active application does not implement network uploads or server communication. No app-managed encryption-in-transit practice can therefore be described. Any transfer performed by a destination app, storage provider, or operating-system backup service depends on that service.
Retention
Presets, saved colors, and output preferences remain in app storage until you remove them where controls are available or clear the app’s data. Recent-export history retains up to 20 copies; saving additional exports removes older retained copies beyond that limit.
Cached source images and processed outputs have no fixed deletion schedule implemented in the app. They may remain until Android clears the cache, you clear it through device settings, or the app is uninstalled.
Images saved outside private app storage remain at your selected destination until you delete them there. Removing history or uninstalling the app does not delete those separately saved images or copies held by recipient apps or backup services.
Your controls and deletion requests
You can remove individual recent-export entries or use Clear recent history in Settings. These actions delete the corresponding private history copies and records, while leaving separately saved exports unchanged. You can also delete individual presets and remove saved palette colors.
Android’s app settings let you clear cached files or clear the app’s local data. Uninstalling normally removes private app data, subject to Android backup and restoration behavior. Manage exported files, shared copies, clipboard contents, and backups through the relevant device or service controls.
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The inspected app has no developer-hosted account or image repository and no in-app remote deletion request feature. The developer cannot directly erase files held only on your device or by services you select. If you email the developer, your email address and the information you include are disclosed through the email service. A specific retention period for support correspondence has not been established in the supplied information.
Children’s privacy
The supplied information does not establish a target age group. The inspected app does not implement age collection, accounts, or a separate data-collection flow for children. Images selected by users may contain information about children and are handled locally as described in this policy. For questions concerning a child’s information, contact the privacy email below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or its data handling. Review the current policy when using an updated version of Photo Utility Studio.
